Morgan

 A

S Morgan put her key in the door, the phone rang. She struggled to open the door. As she entered, she tripped over some papers that were stuffed under the door. She sprained her ankle.

“Damn, what a day?” Morgan screamed out as the answering machine caught the call on the fourth ring. She hit the floor so hard that her freshly manicured nails broke, four of them to be exact.

She got up, hopped over to the black leather chaise by the bay windows and put her foot up on the ottoman. Her ankle throbbed. She needed to get her ice pack. Morgan mustered up the strength to go to the bathroom, where she kept it, and hobbled over to the refrigerator to retrieve the ice.

Morgan moaned in agonizing pain on her way back to the chaise. She grabbed the phone on the way and flicked the switch for the ceiling fan. It was a hot July day; she started to sweat from all of the excitement.

“Mmm, that was Jackson, should I return his call?” Morgan vision Jackson inside of her. She seductively rubbed the cordless phone around her nipple. She immediately got moist and playfully smiled to herself as she pushed the button on the phone to look at the last number that called. Jackson stood her up last week for their dinner date. They had planned their date several weeks earlier.  Morgan dialed in to retrieve her messages but she had none.

I’ll call him back as soon as my ankle stops hurting. The pain from her ankle brought her back into reality. She turned to the window and remembered the first time she met the man of her dreams. He went by the name of Jackson Montgomery. His name was just as smooth as he was. He stood six feet two inches of all man.

It didn’t matter to her that he was a successful investment banker. Jackson had recently been offered a partnership in the company of Sam and Sam, one of the biggest in New Jersey.

“Who am I fooling? I better give him a call even if he did stand me up the last time.” Morgan pressed the talk button on the phone to dial Jackson’s number but something caught her eye out the window. A hummingbird had just come over to the flower bush that was by her window. Morgan had always been an animal lover but she never seen a bird, that beautiful, up close and personal before.

Suddenly, Morgan was deep in thought about her first encounter with Jackson. Morgan remembered meeting Jackson at a conference in Baltimore. She gave legal advice to firms that were just starting out in their business or was looking to change their legal adviser. Morgan was a natural at those events. She worked the crowd passing out her business cards and presenting her business as the best in the market. She had a flair for that sort of thing.

When Morgan introduced herself to Mr. Sam, one of the partners, he acknowledged her proposal and told her that the senior investor would contact her before the end of the day. She had no idea that her entire life would change with that encounter.

Jackson was the go to man for all of the company’s day to day operations and they made contact that evening. When Morgan saw a tall caramel man walk through the door of the hotel lobby, she almost had an orgasm at first sight. When he walked threw the glass doors of the hotel bar area, she immediately fell in love with his presence.

He wore a black pin striped suit with black buckled leather shoes. He smelled of cologne and he was working that room. Everyone paid attention as it seemed as if he glided toward her. When he walked up to her, she was daydreaming about what he looked like naked and didn’t hear him say hello.

      “Hello, Ms. Anderson?”

“Hello Ms. Anderson, are you alright?” asked Jackson twice in his base toned voice.

Morgan just stared at him as Jackson looked confused and didn’t know if she needed an ambulance or some water thrown in her face.

“Ms. Anderson, I’m Jackson Montgomery from Sam and Sam. Can I get you anything?”  Jackson waved his hand back and forth in front of Morgan’s face. He was a little stunned. Jackson knew he was fine but no woman had ever stopped talking in his presence. He knew he had her then. Morgan snapped back into reality realizing that she was standing there with a grin on her face as big as California.

“No, I apologize. I was thinking about something and got lost in my thoughts,” Morgan stumbled over her words as she replied to him. Jackson was no fool. He knew what was up but he was going to play the game to the fullest.

“I hope it was nice. You’d had a smile on your face that could light the heavens,” Jackson smiled showing off his straight pearly whites. Morgan noticed that he had an accent. She didn’t want to ask him where he was from. She tried to guess but was unsuccessful. Morgan had a thing for men with pretty teeth. Jackson almost got attacked right there at the bar. Morgan had to count to five and tell herself to calm down. She was ready to pounce on his ass like a lioness attacking her prey.

“Again, I want to extend an apology for not acknowledging you. I was thinking about what I had to do tomorrow at work.” Morgan knew if she told him what she really was thinking he would have had all types of negative, nasty thoughts about her or that may have been a good thing. Jackson heard what she said but he didn’t believe her. He thought of himself as a woman astrologer. He studied the woman’s body and knew all the signs of a woman in heat. He could smell Morgan a mile away. However, he played a long just to see how far he could get.

“I have to ask you a question. I was wondering, how did you know who I was?” asked Morgan as she tried to control the grin on her face.

“My boss told me to look for the woman with the perfect face and body.”

As Morgan began to feel her panties getting wet, she smiled at Jackson and motion for the bartender to get her another Hennessey and coke. Jackson’s boss had told him what Morgan had on and the way she wore her hair. Morgan was a full size woman. She wore a 9 shoe, waist 36 and her breast was a 40 C. Her ass was fatter than the rest of her body so when she would go and get suits for work, they would always be mixed match in the size. Morgan was very self conscious about her weight and her skin color.

Even though others thought she was a beautiful woman, she did not feel the same. Her self esteem was a mess. Morgan was diagnosed with Depression and she was taking medication at the time she meet Jackson. Morgan was searching for a man and she wanted to fit in and be like her best friend Leila. She wanted a husband, a family and a commitment. She had no idea that the grass on the other side, where Leila was, was not as green as she thought.

“Can I order anything for you, Mr. Montgomery?” asked Morgan while she had a slick look on her face. She was sizing Jackson up as she asked him the question. She was feeling Jackson and she wanted him to know it.

“That’s a grown man’s drink. What you doing drinking that?” commented Jackson. He was referring to the Hennessy that Morgan was drinking.

Morgan knew at that point she was going to have to tame his ass.

“Oh, you didn’t know. I’m a grown ass man.”  Morgan licked the bottom of her lip to taste the Henny that was left there. That sealed the deal. Nothing else needed to be said. They were going to get it on. At that point, it was just a matter of where.

“What you mean MAN? Is there something you need to tell me?” uttered Jackson. He really didn’t want to hear her answer. He thought she was pretty but he wasn’t into having some man’s balls touching his. He would freak out when he was at the gym and other men where around taking a shower. He positioned his face back like she was getting ready to hit him with a blow. His bottom lip was scrunched up and his upper lip was touching his nose. He wasn’t ready for her answer.

“No, I ain’t no man, silly. I’m referring to working in a man's world. I’m fierce when it comes to my business and my men. I fight for what I want and I always win at the end,” smiled Morgan. Jackson was relieved to hear her answer for the first part. He wasn’t worried about Morgan and her idle threats. He thought that all women spoke like that and when they did, it was just them talking shit. Even though he thought he knew women, he had no idea what he was talking about most of the time. He had no idea how serious Morgan was in what she said.

As the pair continued to flirt and have sex with each others minds they got comfortable at the bar. Morgan was feeling some kind of way about Jackson and she wanted him to take her right there on the bar. Morgan usually didn’t drink while she was conducting business but Jackson had her hot and wanting the real thing. The pair talked for hours and finally ended the night with Morgan going up to her room alone, with wet draws.

Morgan was the type of woman that was successful in her business and in close friendships but she didn’t have a man to call her own. She was looking for a man that could take care of her. Not financially, she had that all on her own, but mentally takes care of her. A man that could hold an intelligent conversation without using you know what I’m saying after every other sentence. She was hooked on Jackson. He had everything that a woman like her wanted.

He had brains, money and the sex was off the chain. When he made love to her it was an all night affair. What more could a person ask for? There was just one thing that Morgan couldn’t stand: he traveled a lot and they didn’t spend as much time together as she would have liked. Morgan was willing to accept it but she didn’t like it.

Morgan realized that she was dreaming when the annoying sound from the phone broke her concentration. She clicked the end button to turn it off and on again when she heard someone on the other end say hello.

“Hello,” said Morgan with a little annoyance in her voice.

“Hey girl! Wat’s up?” replied the voice on the phone a little hesitant to say another word.

Morgan quickly recognized the voice as Leila.

“Hey girl! Wat’s up with ya?” asked Morgan trying to make her voice cheerful.

“Aight but how you doing? Did I interrupt something?”

“No, why?” asked Morgan knowing that she was a little snappy when she answered the phone.

“No reason. I just got off of work, I’m exhausted. My boss wanted me to do all of her work today as usually and I couldn’t take it,” replied Lee.

Lee was running off at the mouth and Morgan wasn’t in the mood to hear her work story. The pain in her ankle was starting to take over.

“Hey, let’s not talk about that crazy woman right now. What we doing this weekend?” asked Morgan.

“That’s what I’m calling about. Malik is taking me to the concert on Friday, so we can’t hang out,” replied Lee.

Malik was Lee’s husband of five years and when he decided to take her out she jumped at the chance. They usually did nothing. He worked six days out of the week as a janitor at the Hotel and on the seventh he slept.

“Oh, aight. You go and have some well deserved fun. Scream and holla for me to, okay!”  Morgan hung up the phone and decided to call Jackson back.

She needed to know if they were still on for Saturday. They had to go somewhere were there was not a lot of walking required. Morgan pressed the talk button on the receiver again and dialed Jackson’s phone number. He picked up on the first ring, almost as if he was expecting her.

      “Hey sexy,” uttered Morgan.

“Hey baby, how are you?”  Jackson almost whispered his response to her.

“Are you okay? Is something wrong?” asked Morgan with excitement and urgency in her voice not realizing the game Jackson was playing.

“No everything is fine. I’m just in a meeting right now. Wat’s up?”

Once she heard his voice mellow out she was calm again. She resembled a little girl with a crush on the star football player. In Jackson’s presence, she was a kid. Morgan put her hand in her hair and twirled her long curls in her hand. After a few seconds, Jackson said hello again. Morgan had drifted off in another daydream about Jackson inside of her. She wanted him bad.

“I was calling cause um I wanted to know where we’re going this weekend? I sprained my ankle coming into the door from work,” sighed Morgan.

“Oh, I’ll be over to nurse you back to health,” said Jackson as his voice massaged every muscle in Morgan’s body. Morgan was even more excited.

“So how long, so I can freshen up?”

“It’ll be about an hour or so. I have to finish up here at the office.”

“K, I’ll be waiting.”  Morgan emphasized every syllable.

As Jackson hung up, she looked at the phone and was going to call him right back but she opted not to. Instead she hopped into the bathroom to start her ritual. She always liked to be fresh when she had encounters with any man but she went the extra mile for Jackson. She thought that she would punish him later when he got to her house with her whip. He liked a little pain when they played around.

“Who were you talking to?” asked Terry as she walked into the dining room.

“Oh, that was Sean. I’ma meet him for drinks later on tonight,” replied Jackson. He licked his lips and moved toward Terry.

“Now were where we?”  Jackson grabbed Terry around her slender waist and pressed her body against his. Terry was Jackson long time girlfriend. They had been together for three years and neither brought up the question of marriage. They were just playing house. Terry never questioned what Jackson did. She had no reason to. He always made her feel like she was number one, at least until about six months ago.
